Verification Tiers
We are committed to full regulatory compliance. The level of verification required depends on your purchase amounts. All verification is powered by Sumsub — automated, fast, and secure.
Tier 1 — Basic Verification
Up to £1,000Required for your first purchase. Typically completed in under 5 minutes.
- Valid government-issued photo ID (passport or national ID card)
- Selfie / liveness check (automated via Sumsub)
- Email and phone verification
Tier 2 — Standard Verification
£1,000 – £10,000Required when your cumulative purchases exceed £1,000, or for any single order above £1,000.
- Everything in Tier 1, plus:
- Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, or government letter dated within 3 months)
- Address verification via Sumsub
Tier 3 — Enhanced Due Diligence
Above £10,000 or regular purchasesRequired for high-value orders, regular/frequent purchasers, or if flagged by our risk-based assessment.
- Everything in Tiers 1 & 2, plus:
- Source of Funds declaration (brief written explanation of how you earned/acquired the funds)
- Supporting documentation (e.g. bank statement showing the transfer, employment letter, business accounts)
- Our compliance team may request a brief video call for very high-value orders
Important: Verification status is shown in your account dashboard at all times. You cannot proceed to checkout until the required tier is completed. We aim to process all verifications within 24 hours (Tier 1 is usually instant).
Price Fixing & Payment Methods
Precious metal prices change by the second. Here is how price-locking works depending on your payment method:

Why deposit first for bank transfers? Standard transfers take 1–3 days. Metal prices can move significantly in that time. By depositing first, you eliminate price risk — you choose exactly when to buy at the price you see.
